Retreat Scholarships: A Gifted Retreat
We at ARC Retreat Community have been supporting the practice of retreat for over four decades. Since the global pandemic, more and more people are realizing how vital the practice of retreat is to selfcare and overall well-being. To ensure that the practice of retreat is accessible to all, several donors have stepped forward to establish scholarship funds. The existing funds include:
New: The Grand Lions Fund - a fund established for community members seeking retreat.
Adult Caregiver Fund - a fund established for individuals caring for adult loved ones.
The Bertha Roberson Wellness Workshop Scholarship Fund- a fund established for caregivers and nurturers of children to participate in ARC Wellness Workshops.
Justice Fund - a fund established for frontline promoters of justice.
Parents, Guardians and Teachers Scholarship Fund - a fund established for individuals caring for/teaching children.
Ruth Inga Selland Halvorson Fund for Health Care workers – a fund established for frontline health care workers.
Social Justice Activist Fund – a fund established for BIPOC Individuals who lead organizations/efforts involved in peaceful protest, or promote justice, and workers essential to the community.
We invite you to join us in making sure these (and perhaps other funds) are available for all who request assistance with incorporating the practice of retreat into their lives. You know best how you might support this effort which we are calling The Gift of Retreat Campaign. We are grateful whether you provide a cash donation to an existing fund, start a new fund ($1500 minimum), or become an ARC Ambassador and raise funds for this cause.
Together we are supporting the well-being of humanity one retreat at a time!
Donations of all sizes are accepted. Please give today.
