The ARC is a place to relax the mind, to contemplate, and feed the spirit. We have now added a bodywork piece with the Pullen Wellness Center.

The Wellness Center opened its doors in September 2023, through a generous donation from Dr. James Pullen and his family. James and his wife spent a lot of time at ARC as volunteers and guests. He knew the importance of rest and restoration and believed wellness was a connection of mind, body and spirit.

WELLNESS CENTER FEATURES

Sauna

We have an infrared sauna complete with chromotherapy. Infrared heat therapy offers numerous health benefits such as detoxification, pain relief, improved circulation, stress reduction, improved sleep, better skin, and more. The addition of salt therapy, or halotherapy, uses microsalt to promote a range of health benefits once inhaled.

What to wear: Wear a robe, swimsuit, or t-shirt and shorts in the sauna. We will provide paper flip flops to protect the bottom of your feet.

Rates:

  • Individual Sauna: $20 for 30 minutes

  • Group Sauna: $15/person for 30 minutes

Practitioner Rooms

There are two practitioner rooms on the main floor; both are handicap accessible with a handicap accessible bathroom. Practitioners are available by appointment only; they own their own schedules and set their own rates. Most practitioners require bookings 2 weeks in advance, but may be available at a shorter notice. See list of practitioners below.

For retreat hosts and participants: Practitioner rooms are available as part of your retreat if you have a campus or lodge exclusive. You are welcome to bring your own practitioners for your event or choose from our list of practitioners (available by appointment) for your retreat.

Cozy room with wooden walls, massage table covered in striped blanket, soft lighting from a floor lamp, small shelves with decor items, patterned rug, and framed art on the walls.

While halotherapy, sauna, and massage are relatively gentle treatments, people with severe conditions should consult their doctor prior to participating in these services. There are many clinical and scientific studies conducted on dry salt therapy (halotherapy) throughout the world, but the FDA has not evaluated the statements made through this website. Dry salt therapy is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
